Behavior

Automatically define highlighted words When you highlight a single word, show its definition beside the selection. Show synonyms and antonyms Uses the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Thesaurus API.

Appearance

Dictionary color scheme

Auto samples the area around the word you define, so the card stays readable on both light and dark sections of a page.

Keyboard shortcut

Press Alt+Shift+D to define the selected word. With nothing selected, it opens dictionary search.

API keys

Enter your own Merriam-Webster API keys. They are stored only in Chrome's local extension storage and are not included in this source package.
